Our residential ozone generators do not have timers or remote controls. They can be problematic. Here are the reasons.
Timers can often times be confusing. If they are the push button type, they operate on a binary sequencing to set the ozone time. You may think that you have set it for one specific time period, when in reality you have set it for another. The same binary sequencing must be done for the OFF period. This can be very confusing. The best way to ensure that you have the correct ozone level is to have a variable control dial to adjust the ozone output.
Remote controlled ozone generator seem to be an IN thing. They can work well, but often times the user will neglect the remote because it can be a hassle to readjust the ozone time duration. It is safer & healthier to have a consistent ozone level all the time vs. one that fluctuates up & down. Also, the average home has 5 remotes. Why would you want another one to control such a simple machine as an ozone generator? Compared to ozone generators, remote controls can be a complex device which is often the first to fail.
